Thanksgiving is a time of celebration for our country. If Christopher Columbus hadn't found America, who knows where we would be living now, that is if we even exist. I think Thanksgiving is the day we celebrate finding America. When Christopher found America, they call it Columbus Day. When they celebrated him finding it, that is Thanksgiving. In my point of view, Thanksgiving is the day when all the Indians and Pilgrims came together to make one country, and to get to know each other and celebrate the making of America.

Your history is a little sketchy here. Thanksgiving is specifically around the pilgrims and indians having a feast together while they were thanking God.
